Commercial Design

Lawrence Architecture, Inc. has been involved with commercial design and construction for many years. Prior to starting his own practice, Rick L. Lawrence, AIA had completed many commercial projects for various other architectural firms and design/build firms throughout the western United States.

Mr. Lawrence’s experience includes various commercial building types; including:
- Restaurants
- Schools
- Office building
- Shopping centers
- Churches
- Warehouse / office buildings
- Retail stores

Over the past several years, Lawrence Architecture, Inc. has completed a number of church designs (including new buildings and renovations), retail / commercial renovations and new office / warehouse complexes throughout the Denver metropolitan area.

Obviously, design philosophies and building criteria vary significantly from one building type to another. And, commercial design is a completely different process than residential design; therefore, it makes it quite difficult to “talk” in generalities.
